Using The Zip Box |
|
 |
The Zip Box is a new technique by
m9P Zipper XT that allows you to select, and save in a box, multiple
files from different folders. Later, all files in the Zip Box can
be zipped into a single zip file. To fill the Zip Box with files,
select your files from the file selector. You can select multiple files at
once by either pressing Ctrl key and clicking files in file
selector, or by down-clicking the mouse and moving it across the needed files.
To add files from multiple folders, select the directories containing
needed files, and select your files from each directory. The Zip Box
will automatically save your selections from all directories. To view
selected files, click the Zip Box button, or directly press
Ctrl+B. To remove unneeded files from the Zip Box, check
these files, then right-click for menu, and select Remove checked
items. To remove all files from the Zip Box, click Empty Box
button.
Note: when selecting multiple files
from different folders, be careful not to select files with the same name,
otherwise they will be overwritten in the Zip Box! |

Options |
|
 |
To view Options select it from
Tools menu, or directly press Ctrl+I. You'll find four options
to select from:
Option1: Zip and unzip in the same directory of the last file. When
this option is checked, you will not be prompted to choose a location to
save the zipped or unzipped file(s). The application will automatically
create a folder in the directory of the zipped or unzipped file(s) and
place in it the zipped or unzipped file(s).
Option2: Open the directory of the zipped or unzipped file(s). When
this option is checked, the folder where m9P Zipper XT placed the zipped
or unzipped file(s) will be opened for viewing.
Option3: Show a detailed report of the zipping operation. When this
option is checked, m9P Zipper XT will create a detailed report of the
zipping operation that includes each file name, size before compression,
and size after compression.
Option4: Save a copy of my zipped files in
the following directory. When this option is checked, the text box and
Browse button will become enabled to set a location to save a copy
of each zipped file automatically. The location will be saved and used for
all zipped files.
